Re-framing the world

Short Film

The Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria is an international financing organisation that aims to attract and disburse critical resources to curb and prevent these pandemic diseases.

The Global Fund commissioned the Ginkgo Agency to create a special 10-year anniversary film and provide photograph portraits of world-leading advocates for health and social change. The film and accompanying photography acted as the highlights to the impact of the fund’s international programmes.

The unexpected, striking, portraits of Bill Gates, Zackie Achmat, Bono, Jeffrey Sachs, Gro-Harlem Brundtland, Milly Katana, Yoshiro Mori and Mphu Ramatlapeng and others were presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2012 to 2,000 of the world’s most influential decision-makers.
